Required Benefits Notice

Open Enrollment period occurs each fall and is your annual opportunity to enroll, add or delete dependents, or make election changes to health care, dental and vision coverage and to enroll in FSAs for an effective date of January 1, 2018.  Certain restrictions may apply based on your bargaining agreement and date of hire.

Your changes are binding for the following year, unless you have a qualifying event (see human resources for more information on the definition of a qualifying event and enrollment requirements.) When adding dependents to coverage, supporting documentation is required that provides proof of eligibility.  

Please see the list below for plan information, including the 2018 premium rates, that you are eligible for based on your collective bargaining unit or group and date of hire.

Blue Collar 
 - Hired on or before 4/6/15
 - Hired on or after 4/7/15

White Collar
 - Hired on or before 8/17/15
 - Hired on or after 8/18/15

Confidential, Management
 - Hired on or before 8/17/15

 - Hired on or after 8/18/15

Elected Officials
 - Elected on or before 8/17/15

 - Elected on or after 8/18/15

 - Hired on or before 9/4/17
 - Hired on or after 9/5/17

Deputy Sheriff's Association
 - Hired on or before 2/3/16
 - Hired on or after 2/4/16
