On February 5, 2023 at 9:55 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a blue GMC pickup truck on Auburn Road in the Town of Lansing for failure to maintain lane.
Deputies identified the driver as Gregory Knight, age 46 of Genoa, NY. Through further investigation deputies determined that Knight was intoxicated and arrested Knight.
Knight was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and Failure to Maintain Designated Lane (Violation). Knight was issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Lansing Court at a later date.
