On June 21, 2022 at 9:35 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a pick-up truck on State Route 13 in the Village of Lansing for a traffic infraction.
Deputies identified the driver of the truck as Bryan A. Rayle, age 52 of Newfield, NY. Through further investigation, deputies determined that Rayle was intoxicated and arrested Rayle.
Rayle was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor), Drivers View Obstructed (Violation), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle First Degree (Felony) and Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle (Violation). Rayle was released and is to appear in the Town of Lansing Court on 07/14/2022 at 2:00 PM.
