On March 5, 2023 at 1:49 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Target located at 40 Catherwood Road in the Village of Lansing for a report of a theft.
Deputies were able to locate a male, Christopher D. Reyers, age 40 of Ithaca matching the description of the alleged suspect in the area. During their initial interview with Reyers, he admitted to stealing items from Target.
Reyers was charged with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor) and turned over to the Tompkins County Jail for arraignment.
