On April 8, 2024 at 12:58 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a Lincoln Navigator traveling south on State Route 13 near Stewart Park in the Town of Ithaca for speeding.
The driver was identified as Lacey J. Saucier, age 26 of Central Square, NY. Saucier held a suspended license pending prosecution for an alcohol related offense. Through further investigation deputies determined that Saucier was intoxicated.
Saucier was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated 0.18% BAC or More (Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree and speed in zone. Saucier was released on an appearance ticket and is set to appear in the Town of Ithaca Court on May 28, 2024 at 9:30 AM.
