On June 29th 2022 at approximately 9:03PM, Tompkins County Sheriff Deputies responded to Linda's Diner, located at 1173 Auburn Rd in the Town of Lansing for a report of an in progress dispute.
On arrival, deputies interviewed the parties on scene and discovered that 45 year old Michael Zirbel of Lansing NY had assaulted a male worker at the diner.
Zirbel was then taken into custody and transported to the Public Safety Building for processing. ZIRBEL was charged with Menacing in the 3rd Degree and Assault in the 3rd Degree. Zirbel was then turned over to the Tompkins County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
