You can turn in a registration form in person at your county Board of Elections on any normal business day. If you want to vote in an election, you must postmark or deliver the registration form to your county Board of Elections no later than 10 days before the election in which you want to vote. Your eligibility to vote will be based on the date you file this form.
身分證明規定：
新登記者在填表時均應提供身分證明。身分證明係指可供查驗的紐約州駕照號碼，無駕照者可依表上規定提供社會安全碼後四碼。未提供者投票時則須出示身分證件。
登記者必須符合以下所有條件：

You may not register to vote if you are in prison for a felony conviction.

《紐約州選舉法》第 5-304.3 條
「選舉委員會須在大選當地登記最後一天前收到登記變更，變更項目方可在次年初選生效」。
