June 14, 2025 - DWI Arrest

On June 14th, 2025 at 12:01 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies were patrolling the area of West Haven Road, Town of Ithaca. While on patrol, Deputies conducted a stop on a white Hyundai Accent after observing the vehicle with inoperable taillamp. Deputies interviewed the driver and sole occupant, Andrew Peterson, age 31 of Trumansburg. During their interview, Deputies noticed signs of impairment, conducted a DWI Investigation and ultimately arrested Peterson for Driving While Intoxicated.

Peterson was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and cited for Inoperable Taillamp (Traffic Infraction). He was turned over to TC Jail awaiting Centralized Arraignment.
