Public Health
Nutritionist
Tompkins County Whole Health is seeking a Nutritionist to support women, infants, and children through the WIC Supplemental Food Program. This full-time position is 37.5 hours per week with a hire rate of $31.48 per hour and a work rate of $34.13 per hour after nine months of continuous employment.
This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, knowledgeable, culturally responsive, and committed to helping individuals and families achieve their nutrition and health goals. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is comfortable providing nutrition counseling, supporting breastfeeding families, and working collaboratively within a public health setting.
The Nutritionist conducts comprehensive nutrition and breastfeeding assessments; provides individualized nutrition counseling and education; develops care plans; authorizes food packages; and supports participants with complex nutritional, medical, and social needs. Responsibilities also include documentation, care coordination, referrals to community resources, and collaboration with healthcare providers and community partners. The ideal candidate is skilled at building trusting relationships, applying evidence-based nutrition practices, and empowering families to make informed decisions that support lifelong health.
This is an approved title under NYS HELPS. No exam is required. RD/RDN preferred.
Nutrition Educator II
Tompkins County Whole Health is searching for a WIC Nutrition Educator II to support women, infants, and children through the WIC Supplemental Food Program. The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a starting rate of $28.42 per hour and $30.82 per hour after nine months of continuous employment.
This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, a strong communicator, culturally responsive, respectful, and comfortable working closely with families on sensitive topics such as nutrition, infant feeding, and breastfeeding.
The Nutrition Educator II conducts nutrition and breastfeeding assessments, provides individual and group education, supports care planning and follow-up, authorizes food packages, documents participant services, and connects families with additional health and social service resources. The ideal candidate is able to build trust with diverse families, explain information clearly, and provide thoughtful, respectful support in a public health setting.
Physical Therapists
Whole Health is expanding its in-house therapy team and now hiring full time, part-time, or Per Diem Physical Therapists to support young children in the Early Intervention Program. These flexible positions will focus on providing home-based physical therapy services and evaluations for infants and toddlers currently on the waitlist for care.

We are seeking a Full Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem Special Education Teachers to provide developmental evaluations and individualized services for children with qualifying delays or disabilities.
This role primarily involves home-based visits, offering family-centered support and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. $39.09/hr Hire Rate, $41.14/hr Work Rate (begins after 9 months).
Speech Language Pathologist
Whole Health is expanding its in-house therapy team and now hiring Full time, Part time, and Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologists to provide evaluations and services for children in the Early Intervention Program. These flexible positions will primarily involve delivering speech and language therapy in the home for infants and toddlers who are currently on the waitlist for services.

Mental Health
Licensed Clinical Therapist
Tompkins County Whole Health Mental Health is looking for a licensed clinical therapist to join our adult clinic team. The adult clinic team provides assessment and treatment for adults living or working in Tompkins County. Services are provided at both Green St and Brown Rd. mental health clinic locations. Clinicians on the adult team provide services including intake assessments, individual psychotherapy and facilitate groups for adults with a large variety of mental health diagnosis and symptoms.
Choosing to join us would mean participation in a multidisciplinary team that consists of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, nurses, peer specialists, and other licensed clinical therapists. You will be choosing to provide care in a high-volume community clinic. TCWH provides ongoing training for all clinicians as well as weekly individual and group supervision. In addition, you will be eligible to explore loan forgiveness through the HRSA program.
