Public Health
Community Health Nurse - Communicable Disease & Immunizations
Tompkins County Whole Health is hiring a Community Health Nurse. This position involves working in communicable disease surveillance, giving vaccinations at our on-site immunization clinic and at mobile vaccine clinics in the community, and supporting our rabies post-exposure immunization program. We welcome applicants with a desire to work in prevention-focused programs to support overall community health. All applicants must possess a valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse’s license at the time of application and maintain such license and current registration for the duration of employment.
This position is 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and requires participation in an on-call rotation. The starting salary is $42.98 per hour, with a Working Rate of $45.25 per hour after nine months of continuous employment.
Physical Therapists
Whole Health is expanding its in-house therapy team and now hiring full time, part-time, or Per Diem Physical Therapists to support young children in the Early Intervention Program. These flexible positions will focus on providing home-based physical therapy services and evaluations for infants and toddlers currently on the waitlist for care.
We are seeking licensed, compassionate Physical Therapists who are enthusiastic about early motor development and family-centered support. We are seeking a Full Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem Special Education Teachers to provide developmental evaluations and individualized services for children with qualifying delays or disabilities.
This role primarily involves home-based visits, offering family-centered support and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. $39.09/hr Hire Rate, $41.14/hr Work Rate (begins after 9 months).
Speech Language Pathologist
Whole Health is expanding its in-house therapy team and now hiring Full time, Part time, and Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologists to provide evaluations and services for children in the Early Intervention Program. These flexible positions will primarily involve delivering speech and language therapy in the home for infants and toddlers who are currently on the waitlist for services.

Mental Health
Health Information Specialist
Join our QAI Team to perform professional-level health information and records management work in support of clinical services and operations. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with a hire rate of $31.48 per hour and a working rate of $33.14 per hour after nine (9) months of consecutive employment.
The Health Information Specialist independently manages records requests, including time-sensitive and court-related documentation; supports reporting and audit activities; and coordinates the secure exchange of health information with internal programs and external partners to support continuity of care. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a role that balances structure with frequent interruptions. They communicate clearly and professionally and approach their work with discretion, accountability, and respect for the individuals and systems they support.
