Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Physical Therapists - part-time
Tompkins County is expanding its in-house therapy team and now hiring part-time Physical Therapists to support young children in the Early Intervention Program. These flexible positions will focus on providing home-based physical therapy services and evaluations for infants and toddlers currently on the waitlist for care.
We’re seeking licensed, compassionate Physical Therapists who are enthusiastic about early motor development and family-centered support. Whether you're available for a few hours each week or are seeking a more consistent part-time caseload, join our dedicated team working to reduce service delays and improve outcomes for young children across Tompkins County.
Mental Health
Licensed Clinical Therapists - Adult Team
The adult clinic team provides assessment and treatment for adults living or working in Tompkins County. Services are provided at both Green St and Brown Rd. mental health clinic locations. Clinicians on the adult team provide services including intake assessments, individual psychotherapy and facilitate groups for adults with a large variety of mental health diagnosis and symptoms.
Choosing to join us would mean participation in a multidisciplinary team that consists of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, nurses, peer specialists, and other licensed clinical therapists. You will be choosing to provide care in a high-volume community clinic. TCWH provides ongoing training for all clinicians as well as weekly individual and group supervision. In addition, you will be eligible to explore loan forgiveness through the HRSA program.

Licensed Clinical Therapist - Court Mental Health Navigator
Tompkins County Whole Health Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to serve as a Court-Based Mental Health Navigator. Full time (35 hours), $41.73/hr. hiring rate, $43.92/hr. work rate. Apply by 5/31/25.
In this new and impactful role, the clinician will support justice-involved individuals with mental health needs by coordinating voluntary care, conducting intake assessments, and ensuring seamless engagement in community-based services. This position plays a vital role in bridging systems and promoting access to behavioral health support for individuals navigating the justice system.

Medical Director, Mental Health
There is currently one position available in the title of Medical Director - Mental Health in the Tompkins County Mental Health Department. This is a full time provisional, 40 hour per week position. $299,000 Annual Salary. Residency waived. Applications open until filled.
The Medical Director of Mental Health will provide out-patient and emergency service assessments and treatment as required by the Commissioner of Mental Health Services. They will perform psychiatric consultation with individual patients, provide emergency medical and psychiatric services, as well as psychiatric consultations, examination and emergency backup for law enforcement agencies and courts within the county. The Medical Director will perform court evaluations as requested and order hospital commitments as indicated. They will apply psychiatric expertise to the planning, coordination and operation of the mental health, substance use disorder and developmental disability services provided within Tompkins County. The employee will make recommendations to the Commissioner of Mental Health towards attaining an effective and comprehensive community mental health, substance use disorder and developmental disability program. He or she will assist the Commissioner of Mental Health Services in direct services and duties of the Local Government Unit. The incumbent exercises general supervision over Psychiatrists and various program directors.
