Transportation Improvement Program Update
The five-year program of federally funded surface transportation projects is called the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). This document is updated every 2-3 years. A draft TIP, covering the time period from Oct.1, 2025 to Sept.31, 2030, has been prepared and is available for review and comment. The proposed program includes 16 highway projects and totals $52,115,743. Twelve of the projects are continuing from the current TIP, while four were identified through the ITCTC’s project proposal, evaluation, and selection process.
In addition, the TIP includes funding for transit in the ‘Federal Transit Administration Tables’ listed after the highway projects in the document.
