March 9, 2025 - Petit Larceny

On March 9^th 2025 at approximately 4:00 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff Deputies responded to Target, located at 40 Catherwood Rd in the Village of Lansing for a theft complaint. Target Asset Protection advised deputies that a male and female stole approximately $900 worth of stolen goods from the store. On arrival, deputies were unable to make contact with the suspects. During the investigation, deputies identified the individuals involved as 38 year old James Chambers of Lansing NY and 35 year old Ashley Lee of Lansing NY. 

Both Lee and Chambers were taken into custody a few days after the theft and charged with Petit Larceny. Chambers and Lee were issued appearance tickets to Lansing Town Court to appear on a future date to answer their charges.
