May 12, 2025 - Narcotics Arrest

On May 12th, 2025 at 12:18 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies were on patrol on N. Triphammer Road in the Village of Lansing.  While patrolling, they observed a black Honda Pilot fail to stop at two different stop signs near the intersection Sheraton Drive and subsequently stopped the vehicle on N. Triphammer Road in the Village of Cayuga Heights.  Deputies interviewed the driver, Antonella Dintino, age 41 of Ithaca.  During their interview, Deputies observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and subsequently conducted a vehicle search.

 

During the search, Deputies discovered suspected Methamphetamine, Fentanyl and Crack Cocaine.  Dintino was ultimately arrested and charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class A Misdemeanor), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and Failure to Stop at Stop Sign (Infraction).  Dintino was released on appearance ticket after processing.
