The Tompkins County Board of Elections is encouraging all registered voters to make a plan for casting their ballot in the 2025 General Election.

Voters have nine extra days to vote before the General Election on November 4. Early Voting will be available at the Ithaca Town Hall (215 North Tioga Street, Ithaca) and the Crash Fire Rescue Building (72 Brown Road, Ithaca) from Saturday, October 25, through Sunday, November 2. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm every day, except Tuesday and Thursday, from 12 pm to 8 pm. Each site is fully accessible to voters with physical disabilities. Any eligible voter in Tompkins County can vote at either Early Voting site. Once voters have cast their ballot on a machine at an Early Voting site, they will not be able to vote on Election Day.

October 25, the first day of early voting, is also the last day voters are eligible to register to vote for the November 4 General Election. Registrations are available at Early Voting poll sites and at the Board of Elections office at 128 East Buffalo Street in Ithaca.

As of October 8, 2025, there are 60,713 (32,624 Democrats, 10,491 Republicans, 439 Conservatives, 445 Working Families, and 16,714 ‘Others’) individuals registered to vote in Tompkins County.

Voters can check registration status, search for poll sites, and track absentee ballots any time through the New York State Voter Lookup Tool.
