October 5, 2025 - DWI Crash Arrest

On October 5, 2025, at 12:07 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Ridge Road near Ludlowville Road in the Town of Lansing for a one vehicle crash. 

 Upon arrival deputies determined that a 2019 Ford was traveling south on Ridge Road when it crossed over the center line crashing off the east side of the roadway.  The ford struck a road sign and tree before coming to rest.  The driver was identified as Taylor R. Gehm, age 32 of Lisle, NY.  No injuries were reported. Gehm was found to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested. 

Gehm was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with 0.18% BAC or More, Driving While Intoxicated, and Moving from Lane Unsafely.  Gehm was later released with an appearance ticket to a sober third party and is set to appear in the Town of Lansing Court on October 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
