August 31, 2026 - Stabbing/Parole Violation

On today's date, 08/31/26. At 11:27 AM, the Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the University Heights Apartments on Graham Road in the Village of Lansing, NY for a reported stabbing.

 

Upon arrival, deputies located Thomas A. Henry, age 24, a resident of the complex, with a severe stab wound to his abdomen. Henry reported that he accidentally stabbed himself after falling down a flight of stairs. The investigation did not reveal any signs of foul play.

 

The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Bang's Ambulance and Lansing Fire & EMS. Henry was transported by Bang's to the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NT for emergency treatment.

 

Henry was discovered to have an outstanding warrant from NYS Parole for an alleged parole violation out of Syracuse, NY. NYS Parole was notified of the event and Henry's whereabouts.
