The Tompkins County Clerk's Office is pleased to announce a naturalization ceremony to be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2026, in the Borg Warner Room of the Tompkins County Public Library, located at 101 E. Green Street, Ithaca, NY. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 am.

At the ceremony, nine candidates from eight different countries will take the Oath of Allegiance and officially become citizens of the United States of America.

Naturalization ceremonies are a cherished civic tradition, celebrating the dedication and perseverance of individuals who have chosen to call the United States and Tompkins County home.

  • Korin Kirk, Chief of Staff to Senator Lea Webb, will be the speaker.
  • The League of Women Voters will assist with voter registration.
  • Members of the Kiwanis Club of Ithaca will provide light refreshments after the ceremony.
  • The Daughters of the American Revolution will gift lapel pins to welcome the new citizens.
