March 15, 2025 - Petit Larceny

On March 15^th 2025 at approximately 5:00 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff Deputies responded to Target, located at 40 Catherwood Rd in the Village of Lansing for a theft complaint. Target Asset Protection informed deputies that a male and female had stolen approximately $500 worth of stolen goods from the store. Asset Protection also advised that the male and female left in a white Subaru Legacy and provided the license plate number of the vehicle. 

A few moments later, the Cayuga Heights Police Department stopped the white Subaru Legacy with the same license plate that the suspects in the theft had left in. Both the male and female suspects were identified as 25 year old Daniel Fox of Locke NY and 27 year old Kelly Clarke of Freeville NY. Both Clarke and Fox were taken into custody and charged with Petit Larceny. Fox and Clarke were issued appearance tickets to appear that the Town of Lansing Court on a later date, to answer their charges.
