March 19, 2025 - Narcotics Arrest

On March 19th, 2025 at around 10:00 AM, Deputies located a suspicious truck parked on Elm Street Ext in the Town of Ithaca.  When checking on the vehicle and speaking with the occupants, Robert M. Heroux, age 50 of Trumansburg and Courtney A. Shipos, age 31 of Ithaca, Deputies learned that both were in possession of narcotics and suspected them to be at the location using the narcotics.  At the conclusion of the investigation and search conducted of the vehicle, Deputies arrested both Shipos and Heroux for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Crack Cocaine) - Class A Misdemeanor.

Both were transported back to the Sheriff's Office where they were turned over for Centralized Arraignment.
