EH must locate a dog that bit a person on Monday, July 28, 2025, at approximately 4:30 PM, at Troy Park (a small park located between Troy Road and Whitetail Drive, Ithaca, N.Y.). The biting dog is described as a small-medium, brown/caramel colored dog, similar to a Cavapoo, possibly named "Peanut". TCWH Environmental Health must locate a dog that bit a person on Monday, July 21, 2025, at approximately 5:00 PM, at the Ithaca Dog Park, located within the Allen Treman State Marine Park (805 Taughannock Blvd., Ithaca, N.Y.). The person was bit on the arm while breaking up a fight between their dog and the biting dog. The biting dog was described as brown, medium-sized, of mixed breed.

[Update: Case Resolved as of 4pm, 7/16/25] TCWH's EH must locate a dog that bit a person on Monday, July 14, 2025, at ~1PM, at Dewitt Park. The person was bit while walking through the park by a dog who was off leash. The biting dog was described as a white dog with brown spots, possibly a pit-bull or pittie mix. Anyone with information regarding this dog is urged to call EH at (607) 274-6688.
