August 27, 2026 - Menacing Arrest

On 08/27/26, at 9:11 PM, the Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Harbor Circle, T/Dryden on the report of a subject who had what they believed to be a firearm pointed at them. 

The subject had approached a neighbor on Shore Drive, T/Dryden, regarding an earlier incident involving his child, when the female occupant allegedly pointed a handgun at him and stated, "I have a gun, it's a Beretta and I'll shoot you". 

The investigation revealed the firearm was actually an airsoft gun, although it appeared realistic and made the victim feel threatened for his life.

As result, Bernadette Hacker, age 52, T/Dryden, was charged with Menacing 2^nd (Class A Misdemeanor). She was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court later that evening. 

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
