June 1, 2025 - DWI Arrest

On June 1, 2025, at 4:30 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Ridge Road and Emmons Road in the Town of Lansing for a one vehicle crash. 

 

Upon arrival, deputies located a 2018 Subaru that had traveled off the roadway and overturned multiple times.  The driver was still in the vehicle and suffered serious physical injuries.  The driver was later identified as MOSS, GUGLIELMO TOYE age 22 of Homer, NY.  MOSS was determined to be intoxicated, and an open container of alcohol was located inside the vehicle.  Moss refused to provide a breath sample roadside.

 

MOSS was transported to a local trauma center for treatment.  Moss later refused to provide a blood sample. MOSS was charged with driving while intoxicated, speed not reasonable and prudent and moved from lane unsafely.  Moss turned himself in to the Sheriff's Office two days later and was released on an appearance ticket for June 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Town of Lansing Court.  Lansing Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance assisted at the crash scene.
