The Tompkins County Department of Recycling and Materials Management (TCRMM) office and the Recycling and Solid Waste Center (RSWC) will be closed Monday, September 7th, and will reopen Tuesday, September 8th, during regular hours.
There will be no curbside recycling collection on Monday, September 7th. Recycling pickup will occur one day later than usual for the remainder of the holiday week.
Participants of the Fork ‘em Over: Curbsidefood scraps recycling pilot will follow the normal collection schedule with pick up occurring Wednesday September 9th and Thursday September 10th.
Residents can use the “Find My Recycling Day” tool at to receive curbside collection reminders via phone, text or email. The tool automatically adjusts for holidays when there is no collection. Enter your address and click “Get a Reminder.”
