The Tompkins County Department of Recycling and Materials Management (TCRMM) Office and Recycling and Solid Waste Center (RSWC) will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, and will reopen Friday, Jan. 2 during regular hours.
There will be no curbside recycling collection on Thursday, Jan. 1. Recycling pickup will occur one day later than usual for the remainder of the holiday week.
The Hancock Street Food Scraps Recycling Drop Spot will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 31. The Newfield Drop Spot will be closed Thursday, Jan.1. Residents are encouraged to visit other Drop Spots.
Residents can use the “Find My Recycling Day” tool to receive curbside collection reminders via phone, text or email. The tool automatically adjusts for holidays when there is no collection. Enter your address and click “Get a Reminder.”
