October 16, 2026 - Property Damage Collision/DWI Arrest

On 10/16/26, at 1:09 AM, deputies responded to a one-car collision on Danby Road in the Town of Ithaca. Upon arrival, deputies observed that a vehicle had left the roadway and collided with a utility pole. The operator left the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

The investigation led to the arrest of Miranda K. Steen, age 31, of Ithaca, NY.

Steen was charged with Aggravated DWI (BAC .18% or higher) and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ithaca Court on 10/29/26 at 9:00 AM.
