Visit Ithaca, a division of the Tompkins Chamber and the designated tourism promotion agency for Tompkins County, New York, is launching a Resident Sentiment Tourism Survey. This survey will provide Tompkins County residents with the opportunity to share feedback on the impact of tourism in Tompkins County. Your input will benchmark the community’s support for the development of tourism and recreation in Tompkins County and inform future tourism development.
This program utilizes Rove’s TRAVELSAT© Resident Index. The index is based on 10+ years of consistent research and data quality control procedures and is trusted by leading tourism destination organizations worldwide.
The resident sentiment survey tool will provide feedback on the positive and negative impacts of tourism across 30+ indexes, including the local economy, quality of life, entertainment, infrastructure, and more. Identifying the strengths and challenges seen by residents is vital to the continued development of tourism in Ithaca & Tompkins County.
