September 10, 2026 - Weapons Arrest

On 09/10/26, at 8:57 PM, deputies responded to the Roadway Inn, 654 Elmira Road, T/Ithaca, NY on a report of an altercation. 

It was alleged that Richard J. Knapp, age 39, of said address, had threatened a staff member with a knife. As a result, Knapp was charged with Menacing 2nd, a Class A Misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, a Class D Felony.

Knapp was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court on 09/11/26 at 8:00 AM where he was remanded to the jail without bail. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Ithaca Court on 09/15/26, at 9:30 AM.
