September 15, 2026 - Weapons/Menacing Arrest

On 09/15/26, at 6:59 PM, deputies responded to an apartment located at 120 West Hill Circle for the report of someone threatening violence against another person with a knife.

The complainant reported that upon arriving home they were met in the parking lot by an individual who approached them with a knife and threatening violence.

As a result of the investigation, Edward H. Judy, age 34, of the Town of Ithaca was charged with:

Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, Class D Felony, Menacing 2nd, Class A Misdemeanor, and Resisting Arrest, Class A Misdemeanor. 

Judy was held for Centralized Arraignment Court on 09/16/26, at 8:00 AM. After arraignment Judy was remanded back to the jail on $5,000/$10,000 cash/bond bail. He is scheduled to reappear in the Ithaca Town Court on 09/17/26 at 9:00 AM.
