September 26, 2025 - DWI Arrest

On September 26th, 2025 at 2:21 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies, assisted by the Ithaca Police Department and Ithaca Fire Department, responded to the 200 block of Stone Quarry Road, Town of Ithaca for a property damage accident involving a downed telephone pole and wires.  Deputies located a single vehicle upon arrival, that appeared to have been traveling southbound, went off the west side of the roadway and striking a telephone pole.  Deputies also interviewed the driver, Alicia M. Aubin, age 37 of Willseyville.  During their interview with Aubin, Deputies observed signs of impairment and conducted a DWI Investigation which resulted in Aubins arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. 

Aubin was processed and released, charged with Aggravated - Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated - Common Law (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Speed not Reasonable and Prudent (Traffic Infraction), Moved from Lane Unsafely (Traffic Infraction) and Refusal to Take Breath Test (Traffic Infraction).  Aubin is due to appear at the Town of Ithaca Court at a later date.
