Tompkins County Advisory Boards, Commissions, and Councils

The Tompkins County Legislature appoints members to over 50 advisory boards. Members of these boards serve on a voluntary basis in an advisory capacity to the Tompkins County Legislature and represent various constituencies from throughout Tompkins County.

Any Tompkins County resident is encouraged to browse our list of boards and submit a completed application to be considered for appointment. It is Tompkins County's goal to have a full roster of diverse individuals working towards the betterment of the entire County.
