Are You Gonna Eat That? Food Waste Prevention Challenge is an easy and practical 10-week series that gives tools to keep food from going to waste while putting savings back in wallets.
Each week there's quick tips to help reduce food waste, a short educational video, a simple challenge and helpful resources.

Official Rules
Eligibility
- Participants must reside in a household currently enrolled in the Fork ’em Over: Curbside pilot.
- Only one survey entry per household per week is allowed.
- Participants must be 18 years or older to be eligible for prizes
- TCRMM staff, contractors, and households are not eligible to win prizes.
How to Participate
Each weekly challenge runs from Tuesday through Monday.
Entries for that challenge are due the following Tuesday at 11:59 PM.
Example:
Week 4 challenge begins Tuesday, July 8 and ends Monday, July 14.
Entries for Week 4 are due Tuesday, July 15 at 11:59 PM
Participants complete a short weekly survey linked in the newsletter.
Surveys must be submitted by the Monday deadline to qualify for the weekly drawing.
All eligible entries — weekly and cumulative — will be included in the Grand Prize Drawing at the end of the 10‑week series.
Weekly Prize Drawings
- One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received by the weekly deadline.
- Winners will be contacted using the email provided through the Fork ’em Over program.
- Weekly winners may:
- Pick up their prize at 122 Commercial Avenue, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or
- Request doorstep delivery.
- If doorstep delivery is chosen, the Food Waste Prevention Team is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items once delivered.
- Prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or alternative items.
Grand Prize Eligibility
- All weekly entries are automatically included in the Grand Prize drawing.
- To be eligible to win the Grand Prize, a participant must have won less than $100 total value in weekly prizes.
- Grand Prize winners will be notified directly and announced in the newsletter (first name + last initial only, unless permission for more is granted).
General Conditions
- By submitting entries, participants agree to allow the Food Waste Prevention Team to share their first name and last initial in newsletter announcements.
- The campaign administrators reserve the right to disqualify entries suspected to be incomplete, inaccurate, or submitted outside the eligible household.
- The Food Waste Prevention Team may modify or cancel the drawing schedule if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Participation in the campaign is voluntary and does not affect eligibility for the Fork ’em Over: Curbside pilot.
- Individuals are eligible to win up to two times, excluding week one.
Privacy
- Contact information is used solely for prize notification and program communication.
- No personal data will be shared outside the program.
